Counselor-In-Training (Ages 13-14)

Our campers love to return year after year to Malvern Day Camp. It’s the camp comradery that makes our Counselor-in-Training (C.I.T.) program (ages 13-14) one of the most popular programs at our camp. Young teenagers who participate in our C.I.T. program get the best of camp as they transition to more responsibility. C.I.T. campers acquire critical skills which prepare them to be a counselor in the future. Each morning they receive hands-on training as they assist counselors and specialists in leading a variety of activities. During the afternoon, C.I.T. campers participate, as a camper, in all camp activities. They enjoy camp life with their peers, as they grow and prepare to lead these activities on their own in years to come.
