Camp Health and Safety at Summer Day Camp PA

Health & Safety

Maintaining the highest camp health and safety standards is of utmost importance at Malvern Day Camp. Our camp is designed to meet and exceed all local and national health and safety regulations including those set by the American Camping Association.

A nurse is always on-site during camp hours to administer first aid and to monitor health and sanitation procedures throughout the camp. He/She ensures that health procedures are implemented, first aid kits are maintained, and required medications are safeguarded and administered properly and on schedule. Emergency transportation is available at all times in the event of illness or injury requiring advanced medical attention. Additionally, all Malvern Day Camp staff are Water Safety, First Aid and CPR certified.

All visitors are required to sign-in at the camp office where they will receive a visitor’s badge that must be worn while on the camp property. No one is allowed on the camp grounds without authorization.
